New Custom for Chinese New Year 2010 Sneak Peek!

I have completed my custom Mad*L (surprisingly quickly too) in celebration of the upcoming Chinese New Year 2010 - my year, the year of the Tiger! I will be creating a basic Big Cartel site where you can buy it along w/ some of my past projects, release date not 100% sure at the moment. I would like the buyer to have it during Chinese New Year, so we'll see. But for now, enjoy a sneak peek:

It got me a little overwhelmed, but I'm working through it and hope it turns out really nice! I hope to have it for sale on Chinese New Year, February 14! Here is a WIP shot:

New Custom for Chinese New Year 2010!

Well I'm currently working on a simple design for a quick custom toy for the upcoming Chinese New Year, the year of the tiger. This is significant for me since I was born in the year of the tiger! Design is not 100% finished yet, but once done, I will sell it off, not sure how much and how to sell it yet, that will be determined. Anyone interested, leave me some comments! Thanks!

Most Wanted Messageboard Artist Series AP Dunny Sets!

Ok so after some frustration, I was finally able to finish 3 sets of my Most Wanted Messageboard Artist series dunny sets. 3 pre-buyers will be able to get a dunny, small wooden circular display base, and 4 buttons (1 done by board member 'turdhole' and 3 done by me: dragon face, "dragon" kanji and signed Most Wanted button).

Was waiting for Manny to ship me some Most Wanted boxes before I shipped these guys out to its new owners and got word that my package arrived today! But I won't be home to get the package till Wednesday night, so all packages will be shipped out Thursday morning! Thanks for your patience!

Most Wanted Messageboard Artist Series AP Dunnys - ARGH!!!

I'm currently working on my 2nd Most Wanted Messageboard Artist Series AP dunnys and for some reason, I'm having a very difficult time w/ them. When I first produced the 10 original ones, after some trial and error, they came together pretty quickly and looked great. After a few months of non-decal production, I guess either I'm rusty or what not, but I just can't get these damn decals to behave correctly!

Most people think using decals are probably easy, but they have no idea. You have to manipulate them to fit on a round surface like the dunny head and then soften and massage them into a great fit using decal solutions. I screwed up the first dunny and got more gold spray paint on my eyeglasses (which really pissed me off) and now they are just not behaving.

If I keep having problems like this, either I'll just forget the whole thing or abandon and do these at a later time. My apologies in advance for anyone waiting to get one of my APs, but it's just a complete hassle at this point.
